New Braunfels Downtown Electrical Upgrade

M&S provided electrical engineering for the redesign of the electrical infrastructure at the main plaza circle. The project was initiated to accommodate proposed expansion and load growth for the City’s annual holiday lighting events.
As a result of the loading analysis, we re-configured the service panels into a single main with 800 amp capacity and 9 sub-panels to isolate specific areas of Historic Downtown New Braunfels.

This redesign brought the facilities into compliance with the National Electric Code standards, incorporated a new protection coordination scheme, and allows for future load expansions.
