Project Spotlight: Nueces Electric Cooperative – Robstown, Texas

M&S Engineering recently completed a load analysis project for Nueces Electric Cooperative. A large commercial and industrial load is to be constructed in the Nueces territory, and a study of the existing infrastructure capabilities was required. M&S utilized the ETAP software system as well as engineering best practices to determine the effects the new load would have the Nueces system. After collaboration between Nueces and M&S, it was determined a new, dedicated distribution feeder was needed and M&S should soon begin the design process for that portion of the project.
